Did you know the first digital camera was made by the Eastman Kodak Company in 1975? It weighed 8 pounds and could take one picture every 30 seconds. It took another 30 seconds to process the picture and then display it on a standard TV. We have come a long, long way! Use your light weight, nearly instant camera to take pictures to enter in the 16th Annual Photography Show. The theme is “Wellness, Fitness & Sports.” Fill out a registration form and bring your photos to the library on September 21-24. Photos will be displayed the whole month of October. Even if you don’t enter a photo, stop by and vote for your favorite photos. Check out our photography books, too. They are in the ORANGE section under Arts/Photography.
