 Library Cards are Available To:

  • Adult Ohio residents with proof of current address.
  • Children through 17 years old with the signature of a parent or legal guardian assuming responsibility for use of the card. A child may get a card when he/she can write his/her own name.

How to Get a Card:

  • Bring Your proof of current address to the Library
    Complete the short Application Form (Applications for children under 18 years of age must be signed by a parent or guardian.)
  • Use Your Card That Day to check out up to 5 items, including up to 2 videos or DVDs
  • Receive your new card in the mail

Use of Your Library Card/Account:
  • Check out, renew and request materials, pay fines or get other information.
  • When the computer network is “down,” your card must be presented to check out materials. Other information, such as fines and reserves, will not be available.
  • Blocked for fines of $10 or more or 10 or more items overdue. 

Library Account Privacy:

  • You may access your account to check out, renew and request materials, pay fines or get other information.
  • You may access the accounts of your minor children.
  • You may access any other person’s account only with that person’s library card in hand.
