Richard Paul Evans continues his Mistletoe series this Christmas season with The Mistletoe Secret. Briefly married and abandoned by her husband before the birth of their stillborn child, Kelly Armstrong is at the lowest of lows. Lonely and in mourning, she copes by starting an anonymous blog, The Mistletoe Letters.

“Is anyone out there?”

She signs the deeply personal posts LBH which only she knows stands for “Last Breaking Heart.” Meanwhile Tyler Richards is nursing his own broken heart and trust issues. This New York writer finds himself falling for the anonymous blogger and works to track her down. Following inadvertent clues, he trails her to the small town of Tribe, Alabama and goes there searching for a Lisa, Lorrie or, maybe, a Luanne. Instead he finds a woman named Kelly and seeks her help to track down the mysterious LBH.

Evans’ Mistletoe books have been featured in Hallmark Christmas movies including The Mistletoe Promise airing new this year and based on Evans’ book of the same title. Here a chance meeting between two strangers who share a disdain for Christmas results in a pact (the Mistletoe Promise) to help them navigate their holiday complications – together. But the more time they spend together experiencing the magic of Christmas, the more they discover there’s more to their contract than business.
