If you’re 60 or older, you can apply for a Golden Buckeye card at the library. Many merchants offer discounts to card holders — camp sites, dentists, fitness centers, hair stylists, hardware stores, grocers, museums, restaurants, veterinarians and more. Many merchants have the Golden Buckeye logo on their doors. The card, which is a program of the Ohio Department of Aging, also is available to people with disabilities who are 18 to 59.
Gallery Space
Our library has gallery space where local and regional artists, collectors, groups and photographers can display their work. As part of our cultural mission, Madison Public Library enjoys being a community gathering space that attracts community wide events and meetings. With the library’s easy accessibility, convenient hours and continuous traffic flow, it is a dynamic place for an art display. Contact the library to reserve the gallery space for your exhibit.
Madison Public Library offers a free delivery service to people who can’t visit the library. No matter why the library is out of reach – age, disability, health or transportation issues – we’ve got you covered. Homebound delivery can be long- or short-term, depending on an individual’s needs.

With more students taking advantage of distance learning and online school opportunities, the need for test proctors has risen, and we are happy to provide this service. Proctors monitor students while taking tests. Please call the library to speak with Dee Culbertson or Melanie Lyttle to learn more about our test proctor services or to schedule a time for a test to be proctored.
