We welcome the community to enjoy an outdoor hike on the nearby Madison Community Fitness Trail to experience our StoryWalk® in the great outdoors!

The StoryWalk® displays laminated pages from a children’s book, which are installed along an outdoor path. There are 19 displays, which were installed by Eagle Scout Charley Barnicoat in 2019 with financial support from Madison Kiwanis. The path, which is located behind nearby Madison Middle School, leads from the beginning of the story book to its end.

Madison Public Library changes the children’s book on display throughout the year. You never know when a new book will be out there, so check back often!

We love that this project unites our love of books with people out in the fresh air getting fit and being active.
