Storytimes at Madison Public Library emphasize sharing developmentally appropriate books and combining those with music, movement, and other activities to help children develop a love of the library and reading. There are approximately three different sessions of storytimes throughout the year. Attendees sign up once for all the programs in a particular session. Weekly storytime sessions generally run August through December, January through May, and June through July. Sign ups occur in July, December, and May. During inclement weather, if the Madison Local Schools cancel classes, that day there will be no storytimes at the library. Click here for a complete list of events for children birth through third grade.
Join Miss Kylie for online Zoom storytimes using a computer, tablet or phone starting this week for young families and preschoolers. Check our calendar here for dates and times or call us for details. Programs are weekly for four weeks, and materials are provided for pickup at the library.
